Today, no one will be surprised by the unique properties of such an amazing product as olive oil.
A number of studies were carried out, during which it was found that olive oil rejuvenates the body, greatly reduces the level of harmful cholesterol and perfectly supports the level of cholesterol that is needed.
As well as scientists have found that olive oil prevents the risk of developing breast cancer.
Recent studies have shown that this product dramatically affects the functioning of the heart. Scientists say that olive oil can reduce the risk of stroke, which older people are so susceptible to.
Scientists at the University of Bordeaux studied medical records of more than eight thousand French, who turned 65 years old.
None of the subjects had a stroke. For five years, experts conducted their observations and found that those who constantly used olive oil in their diet, the risk of stroke was reduced by almost half compared to those who did not use such oil at all.
The result of the research is impressive, however, a dietician from the University of Melbourne argues that there is not enough data and nothing can be said with complete certainty.
Additional studies will be conducted shortly to determine if there are any other causes that affect the heart. Olive oil also helps fight Alzheimer’s disease, helps with diabetes and diseases related to blood circulation.
It remains only to wait for new research.
